The Canadian farmer, Michael Schmidt whose campaigning work has been documented in the film Milk War will talk and give a
workshop on Food Sovereignty and the rights of the individual to eat the food he or she feels are the best for them. He is currently
having to fight the Canadian Government through the courts in order to protect food sovereignty.

Shelley Sacks, an international artist and Professor of art in Oxford Brookes University. Shelley is a former student of Joseph Beuys
and her work carries forward the social sculpture strategies and commitments embedded in Beuys’ “expanded conception of art”
As part of her contribution Shelley will initiate her global project University of the Trees here in Clare.

Tom Ravetz is a Priest in The Christian Community and Author of two books – 'Free from Dogma' and 'The Incarnation'.
He is the Coordinator of The Christian Community for Great Britain and Ireland.
Paul Brennan is a locally based theater director, professional actor, playwright, adjudicator and acting teacher for over thirty years. He has directed with the Abbey, the Gate and other Dublin theatres, with Druid in Galway, with Red Kettle in Waterford and with Island Theater Company in Limerick. He teaches Michael Chekhov Acting Technique at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin.
Martin Donnelly Irish Song poet will accompany the conference with his beautiful songs that open us up to the wonders of nature.
'Martin’s music is inspired by the land, sea and skies of Ireland. It reveals the link between spirituality and ecological awareness.
